Default How to make (recent) reaper use sox för sample rate conversion

I've tried searching, but no luck.

I would like to make Reaper 5.40 under W10 use SOX VHQ sample rate conversion for final rendering.

It must be doable, but I can't seem to get it to work.

Please help!

Ya know, that would be convenient.

Should be easier with OSX right?

How are you trying to do it? Reaper does not have native support for Sox or any other 3rd party resampling algorithm. (If I recall right, someone did some kind of a script to run Sox in Reaper, but it's not anything like full integration.)

I don't see any reason why it would be simpler or harder than on Windows because Reaper has no support for using 3rd party resampling algorithms to begin with...

Fair enough.

XLD is a convenient utility beyond including SOX. It includes all the conversions that Reaper omits.

Indeed. Works for me on Win with recent Reaper. (edit: Not sure I need it though. )
