Default Actions for skipping through AU / VST plugin presets ??

Dear Reapers,

Alot of VST and AU plugins (i am on mac) have "built in" presets, which i can choose at the upper left of a plugin window.

But i wonder if there are Reaper Actions with which i can skip to the next or previous preset of a plugin, without constantly having to go to upper left with mouse and choose a preset from the preset list.

Would be very neat !

Warm regards.

there is an action but it only works with some plugins. I was going to do a video on it but it only worked for a handful of my plugins.

If the plugin uses the VST menu and not it's own then you can use

SWS/S&M: Trigger previous preset for last touched FX
SWS/S&M: Trigger next preset for last touched FX

You need to click in the preset menu of the fx first.

there's also selected fx of selected tracks which tends to work better with the fx chain open and fx selected on the left.

Overall not working quite as expected.

Thanks for your help Jon !
With your help i became aware of the 2 Reaper Actions that i investigated myself on:

Here we go:

1) Attach custom keystrokes to:
"Trigger next preset for selected FX of selected tracks"
"Trigger previous preset for selected FX of selected tracks"

2) Open a VST or AU plugin which has "vst programs" built in or "AUFactory presets (.aupreset) built in.
These presets will be visible in the preset tab, at the upper left corner of the plugin FX Window in Reaper.

3) Now just click this preset tab once and the you can close the plugin FX window.
(You won't even have to choose a preset, only clicking on the tab is enough).

4) Now hit the custom keystrokes you made for the "next" and "previous" Reaper Actions.

Outcome: The presets ARE skipped through, although the plugin's FX Window is closed, Yes !!

I tested this with several VST plugins from Tone2 and several AU plugins from UAD.

Now i won't state that this workflow will work with any VST and or AU plugin which has built in presets that are visible in the FX Window preset tab, but these results are already really satisfying and hopeful for me !!

OSX 10.10.5 , Reaper 5.21pre1 - 64bit.

Some scripts in ReaPack for that which i think are less finicky than the SWS extension actions
