Default Is there a quick way to remove all metadata/tags from a Wav file?

My looper pedal (Rowin Looper 3) will only import WAV files if they are stripped of all metadata/tags. Is there a quick way in Reaper to do this. Alternatively is there a program which will batch clean WAV files?

A quick google search brought me to this thread at Gearslutz, many options it seems like.

Thanks for the replies.

I'v tried a numbr of the suggestions already and, whilst they remove data such as track name, etc, they still seem to leave additional data in the WAV file which thr looper does't like (it throews up a wrong file format error.)

Default Removing metadata from WAV file

After trying out several demo versions, I settled on this one. For $19, it does a thorough job stripping out all the metadata, and you can use Batch mode to clean a group of files quickly.

BatchPurifier - http://digitalconfidence.com/BatchPurifier.html

HINT: Use the demo version of MetadataTouch, which has a few more features but it's more expensive. Once you verify that it will do what you need, buy the cheaper BatchPurifier. It uses the same tech, but with a few less options it's cheaper to use and simpler.

Try the open source tag program Kid3.
