Default running 32bit plugin into 64bit reaper

hey i read that this can do it but haven't tested it

Never got round to trying it after reading various threads about people having headaches with it a few years back.
As far as I know, it does what Reaper already does automatically - it's unnecessary in Reaper, because Reaper has it's own way of doing the same thing...

Top and bottom of it, I use a couple of 32 bit plugs without having installed any extra bridging stuff and they work fine. I'd sill install 64 bit when there's the option, though.

Apologies if I missed the point.

In my experience Reaper's native 32bit vst bridging is more stable than jbridge. Also it is very efficient, I notice no performance difference between 32bit and 64bit versions of plugins.

Yes, the easier way is just to select "Automatic bridging when required" in Options/Preferences/Plug-ins/Compatibility and let Reaper do the bridging for you (assuming you selected the right option when you installed Reaper).

I run plenty of 32 bit VSTs this way without any problems.
