I totally agree. This does seem possible, as I think I've seen this elsewhere???

Yeah, the transport bar gets a little bulky with the Windows frame on it. Cubase is an obvious example here - their transport has a few blank spots you can grab to move it around.

In this case they have to implement dragging a window holding any part of it, except control buttons and what so ever
