Default [3.22] elastique 2.1

repro:
- insert sample
- (f2) select elastique 2.1
- pitch up/down sample
- play transport

log:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1627980/elstq2.log
may require some exception handling. too bad that v.1 does not support these specifically.

Quote:
the debugger log shows that elastique2.dll is executing an illegal (for legacy hardware) set of instructions.

if there are the appropriate flags for hardware compatibility in elastique, then this is a minor issue. on the other hand if the authors of elastuque has dropped support for legacy hardware in e2.1 (by mistake or intentionally) then perhaps reaper should also include e2.0, which will not break older reaper projects.

no crash here too and I tried a few ways of doing this and even using the transport play rate too.

any more details?

Means? Older CPU? Why not mailing to the elastique devs then to get it fixed on their side?

thanx for the suggestion dstruct.

i've exchanged a couple of emails with tim flohrer @ zplane (a nice person),
then forwarded our conversation to support@cockos.com
he said that cockos should contact him if possible to discuss the issue.

please note that i'm not really pushing the issue in any way ("o.m.g. reaper is crashing fix it now!"), in fact i wouldn't care less, but i find this one interesting (cpuid checks, optimized code etc...)

Still happening in 3.4rc1 (with updated Elastique 2.12)?
