Default Quantize dialog box disappear (SOLVED)

In normally working Reaper v3.68, x64, happened strange phenomena.

When I press Q for opening quantize dialog, notes moves to grid positions but without open quantize dialog.
It means that I can not change anything, and quantization works as last time it worked well. If I want to quantize something again I can not until I close editor and open again.

I believe I press something wrongly, but I can not find how to go back. Looks like dialog is open behind something and not visible, and stays opent until I close editor.

Pleas HELP

Default I found it

Somehow, something from ini file was missing. How it happens , I don't know.

But working late is not advisable.

Sorry for false alarm

Foxbury, how did you solve this issue? - It seems I have the same problem right now.

Thanks

Open reaper.ini (when REAPER is closed) in Notepad/TextEdit/yourpreferredASCIIEditor and find the lines

quantwnd_x=
quantwnd_y=

and change the values to x=0 and maybe y=42 in order to put it back on the visible screen area.

Thank you!

I do portable installs, and changed monitor setups lately. I couldn't figure out what was going on with the missing quantize dialog in the midi editor. This fixed it.

I wish there were a global option to reset all windows and dialog box positions. I jump between machines with my portable installs, and not all machines have the same resolution. One button, menu item, or action, could fix all this.
