Input mixer shortcut.
Even better!
1. Create a new shortcut on your desktop
2. Browse to and choose sndvol32.exe - OK
3. Call it windows Recording Mixer or such
4. Ok - thats done.
5. Now Right-click on the new shortcut, choose properties.
In the first line it will say something ending in sndvol32.exe
add this to the line a space followed by /r
6. Next to Shortcut Key, click where it say none - and then press 'R' on your keyboard.
7. OK to close the dialog.
Now when you press Ctrl+Alt+R your microphone/recording input mixer appears!
The metering is done within Reaper.
Cheers
