Default [6.04]Audio Clipping on Key Down with Applied Acoustics Strum GS-2

I'm getting ear splitting clipping from AAS Strum GS-2 on the first key down it receives. It's a digital zippering sound that pegs the meters and will not stop until the plugin is disabled or another patch is selected in the plugin. This happens consistently.

This does not cause an error message from Reaper.

My OS: Windows 10 Home

Reaper version: 6.04/x64

Plugin: AAS Strum GS-2 v2.1.2 (64-bit)

Audio driver: ASIO4ALL v2.14

Thanks,

Andy

This problem only happens on my Surface Pro 7. On my other machine running the same version of Reaper, the plug in works fine. The odd thing is that the other machine is much older (though an i7 instead of i3 CPU) and has over time been modified as I've used it. The Surface is brand new. Go figure.

I would say this is an issue that can be deprioritized. I'll just use another plugin on the Surface.
