Default Hang the World on Me

First off, hello everybody. New User - First song!

I'm brand new to recording. Just set up a little basement studio for about $1000.00 (not including instruments). Reaper seemed like a really good choice for me and after about a month I felt compelled to actually pay for it. I guess I was impressed with the whole "pay-if-you-like-it" attitude.

I won't bore you with my music history ....but here is my first ever solo production.

Any criticism or suggestions...especially production-related ...is welcome!

...don't know if this is the 'right' way to link to a song...anybody???

I'm listening late over here in cans so I can't give a real fair assessment of the mix but considering it's on My space which usually crushes sound because of it's quality settings and conversions it sounds good but then there's not a lot of sonic content which helps.

That aside I think the song is brilliant and the arrangement is superbly sparse.Your voice couldn't be better suited to the music IMHO.Bit Cohen in feel(A good thing in my book).
