Default non-PS2 wireless keyboard/mouse combo recommendations?

folks, I'm planning a mobo/chip upgrade soon, and the mobo on my list at the moment (Intel DP35DP) doesn't have PS2 ports apparently, so I'll need to replace my keyboard and mouse... anyone got any good recommendations for this? My own criteria would be:

1) Wireless (via a USB receiver I guess)
2) mouse to be rechargeable in some way (without having to swap batteries)
3) ERGONOMICALLY SHAPED - preferably the full on wonky keyboard-in-two-halves thing
4) just nice to use for audio and general use.

Any good ones you can point me towards? Cheap-ish would be good if possible...

I have switched to a Logitech Dinove Edge keyboard. It is wireless, has a loading-station so no empty batteries, and I don't need a mouse as it has a great working touchpad, a real space saver on my crowded studiodesk.

However, it is rather expensive

good... I'm coming from a single core Athlon which runs at about 2.1Ghz, so I'm hoping upgrading to a q6600 in a DP35DP will feel like one damn good christmas...

I Got the Logitech DiNovo Media Desktop

See Here:
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/ke...s/164&cl=us,en

I highly recommend it. The keyboard is not rechargeable like the DiNovo "Edge" series. It takes 4-AA Batteries in the keyboard, which I just bought a set of rechargeables to swap in and out. The Mouse is built in docking rechargeable. I've had it for almost 3 months so far and my Keyboard batteries have not needed replacing yet. It goes to sleep when you don't use it for a long time. The Media Pad takes 2-AA batteries and I had to replace those once in the last 3 months. The reason for that is because it has a display that always remains on. The mouse takes about 15 minutes to fully recharge. The mouse is a nice and very solid mouse. It has some gearth behind it and doesn't feel like a toy.

The complete set goes for $199 in retail stores like Best Buy or Micro Center, but I got mine off of Ebay for $85. It's a great setup for $85, where you can't beat it for that price. It's Blue Tooth wireless, with a USB receiver. You connect it and set it up once and then from there it just works everytime you fire your PC up.

If you decide to get one off of Ebay like I did, then there's a few things to pay attention to. You have to make sure you are getting the one that says it's the "Media" Desktop. There's another Logitech Dinovo Desktop ..but doesn't include the word "Media" in it's description which is cheaper but comes with a cheap mouse that does not recharge and is not Blue Tooth wireless. Another thing to make sure of is that it comes with the MX-1000 mouse. Some come with the MX-900 and the newer ones come with the MX-1000...I think the 1000 is a better mouse. At Ebay just do a search on "Logitech DiNovo"...or "Logitech DiNovo Media"..you'll get a lot of hits with Buy it now options for under $100.

no software, and the detachable usb cable / charger is what sells it for me. i can't believe there are no other keyboard/mice combos with this cool feature.

That is a nice feature of being able to recharge and use via USB cable. When I was shopping for mine, that was a feayure I was looking for.....I was surprised it didn't exist....I figured it would because that's exactly how the wireless controllers work on the Sony PS3......and when was the last time Sony came out with something innovative?
