Default configuring midi imput, qpc, tgt, let reaper...

Can anyone enlighten me on what the differences are between these settings, and which would be the best setting to use for a midi sport 2x2 anniversary edition. I also have a cheap inline midi cable not branded that using straight windows midi drivers.

or...

you can easy test the difference with simple MIDI loopback recordings

REAPER...

A few regular 1/16 or whatever events at a bpm of 120 or whatever
over an longer time 3 minutes or whatever

to MIDI Out >DIN cable> MIDI IN

look at the recorded items:
better timing/lower jitter/less variation result = better MIDI In mode.... for your spec. device..
