Default Working USB Keyboard/Controller

Hi,

I've been browsing here to find out what USB Keyboard/Controller to buy, but there are so many different problems and issues. As soon as I find something I want, somebody has some kind of trouble with it. And some of the threads are pretty outdated.

Novation has some issues, M-Audio others. Akai and Roland has this and that... I can't really decide... And I don't want to go out and buy a new DAW...

What I want is:
- A good USB Keyboard with working controllers.
- I must be able to use the faders/play/pause/FFW/RW/Loop etc. etc.
- I want some good pads on top of that.
- I want a reasonably understandable GUI.
- And I want it to be 100% compatible wit REAPER.

Could we please make an updated list of the ones that really work with reaper.

Would be great!

Kind regards,
Christian

Hi,
Just to pitch in that I'm in the same place; looking to buy a controller keyboard / surface.

Right now wheeling about my studio from PC to big keyboard is killing my workflow.

Does cockos have a help page somewhere where they list which devices are supported and what they support?

Personally, I'd really like fader control, track arm / solo and transport control. I guess that would be fairly standard but you know what they say about assumptions...

I'd save my pennies for something on the novation SL or impulse range given the general internet chatter, but if someone tells me there's a better option when considering reaper I'd happily take that into account.

Thanks for any input.
