Default Recording Roland TD-11K via Roland Wireless Connect?

Has anyone done this with reaper? Reading their promo materials, it looks like the TD-11K can connect to iPhones and iPads, but I'm looking to set up my v-drum in a different room than my DAW, and I was hoping to be able to wirelessly record drum sessions into reaper. Anyone accomplished this?

I use a 10 metre MIDI cable! Works just fine.

I would assume that unless there is a real pressing reason NOT to just go wired, you could do this over pretty much any length of cable run with lot less hassle than going wireless.
FWIW if you need to go much over about 15 metres you may have to do it via a MIDI thru box to avoid line losses/MIDI data corruption, but you would have to be going well over that 15 metre length to run any real risk of dropouts/corruption IMO.
