Default Good windows metronome

Anyone know of a good windows 7 metronome? I have a free one but im not thrilled with it.. It cycles adds and installed some other junk even though i was carefully unchecking extras during install.

I'd prefer a free one but id drop a bone or two for a good one without bloat and ads..

hmm its interesting.. looks a tad gimmicky to me but i can see how some folks would dig it. I dont typically watch the metronome when practicing so i'm thinking more basic..

I do appreciate the suggestion though

weird metronome looks cool.. i think ill try it.

I am using the NCH tempo perfect.. its the one with ads. I found a couple on google that I tried (including NCH). I do like it but not the ads. I also don't like the rogue software it installed, but I think I've got rid of everything but the metronome

thanks for the suggestion for weird metronome.

@ foxAsteria

I just want something to use for guitar practice drills. I was using reaper before.. its kind of a pain for this purpose.

If you're on windoze 8, there's a whole bunch of free metronome apps available in the store. I haven't checked any out, but it might be worth a look.

Oops... I just noticed you're on 7.

Default Metronome EXP Pro

I whole-heartedly recommend Metronome EXP Pro!

It not only offers simple metronome functionality (with support for irregular meters),
but also preset management,
a fully customisable speed trainer,
a step sequencer (with optional chord sequences and auto-accompaniment)
support for polymeters...

Well, if you find anything that this metronome cannot do,
there's also great support and continuous improvement.

It's also small, portable, comes in 32Bit and 64Bit
and won't cost an arm or a leg ($12).

It's made for musicians!

But I am afraid, my words cannot do it justice right now.
Please have a look at

https://www.expmuse.com/

Best regards
D.

This one takes the cake I think.. even the free version suits my needs pretty well. The PG music one is prettier, but this one is working perfect. The speed trainer is great. I use the speed trainer in guitar pro 6 but for when I just have a lick i want to practice for a couple minutes.. this is perfect. Plus I can set some speed training presets for riffs/licks I'm going to be revisiting for a while.

thanks very much for this
