Midi Piano Roll Toolbar not working anymore :(

Hi there,

in Reaper v4.x days I was customizing Reaper to my needs, so I also imported this midi piano roll toolbar into my workspace:



Since somewhen (maybe since v5) the red marked buttons are not working correctly anymore. Now I always have these options enabled ("select tool", "pencil tool",...), and I can't disable them anymore.

Could someone please help to fix that? I tried around with changing actions on these buttons, but it didn't worked well yet.

Any help's appreciated!

Have you already tried to do a right-click on these buttons?

You need to right click on an empty spot in the toolbar and select "Customize toolbar".

Then click on the faulty icons and check their actions out. If they were the result of a "script", you might get it back by reloading the script.

If not, maybe the actions for those icons have been changed or something.

With a little diligent searching you should be able to get them back.

If they did that could be bad news for others too. It did happen once some years ago.

I figured it out... I had to change the actions and now it works again.
Wasn't that difficult at all, but it was a bit confusing.
