Default MIDI input from mouse as well as MIDI keyboard? (SOLVED)

Hello All -

Hope this finds you well.

I am creating an electric bass line with Ample Sound's "P Lite Bass" (Wonderful, btw!) and I find that the input from my mouse click does not record in my Track.

Example: I start the bass line with a mouse click on one of the P Lite Bass FX - a glissando slide - and the next beat I start playing the bass melody on my midi keyboard.

The glissando slide does not record, though I hear it fine and it sounds great as I play it.

Is there some way to enable input from the mouse IN ADDITION TO the midi keyboard? Can't find anything about this so far.

Any and all Help gratefully appreciated!!

I'm using Reaper 6.2 on a Mac Book Pro.

All Good Wishes, Reaperados and Reaperettes!

Default SOLVED !!

I've solved this - Here's how:

Created a second midi track for the Ample Sound P Bass Lite;

Hit the "Oct+" button on my Arturia MiniLab midi keyboard;

Tried various keys until I found the key mapped to the "6" on the P Bass Lite
keyboard display;

Hit "Record" and when the note came up I hit the Glissando key on the keyboard;

Hit "Stop" -

RESULT!

Thanks to all who looked through this thread - I appreciate it!
