Hello vanhaze,
I think on Saturday.
The only difference are the used fonts & margins.
My time is very limited at the moment.
Thank you

Is there a way to configure the videos versions to do so?

Paulie MAC
Hi,
Mac version uploaded to stash.
Because of time problems i worked pretty fast... so i don`t know if everything is correct.
It might have a few bugs.

Hi,
thank you very much for your comments.
I have just some time and i want to tell you some things about the development of this theme. Perhaps for some people here (theming beginners) it might be helpful.
Warning!!! My english is not very good... so if you don`t understand what i have written... at least i hope you have something to laugh about.
There is a layout in the theme called "Dual Knob" with a text (description) next to the pan&width knobs.
Right from the start on working on this theme i wanted a function that represent the different pan-modes in a (for me) logical way... with still both knobs visible.
For example - dual pan - shows left&right; - stereo pan - shows widht&pan.
I already have tried something similar in the Apollo theme with a small LED.
I thought about it back and forth and could not find a solution. I wrote witti what i am trying to do and some days later he sent me the complete layout exactly how i wanted it to be.
You can`t implement the behavior with "normal" walter-code... witti misused the rec.input button for this.
(There are more of these little things where you can realize a function that would otherwise not be possible when you use walter-code in different ways.)
In combination with the pan&width label i think it is now a little bit clearer which pan-mode is in use.
Although when I think about it, in default pan-mode it would be even better when the width text stripe would be empty or shows a "--".
One other thing that delayed finishing the theme was "minimum height of mcp"... because min-height is not the real min-height. :-)
One day i accidentally reduced the window size of reaper and saw that the mcp layouts were all messed up at this height... so back to walter and rework the code. (time consuming)
Remember such things when you create a theme.
These are some (there are much more :-)) of the things/problems that happen when you create a theme and i think everyone who designed one can tell a story about that.
P.S: This time i wanted to write a little more than my usual just one sentence.
bye

Midi editor does not allow coloring of notes by velocity. Coloring by pitch etc seems to be OK.
That said, this theme is the sh!t.

Hello,
coloring by velocity goes from light-red to strong-red.
I find it confusing when you have many different colours for velocity... and then even more when the notes are selected.
In the end the user dont know what is selected and what notes have different velocity-steps.

Thanks very much for this theme!
was using apollo for a looong time and am now switching to this due to the amazing usability also on my laptop.
Will use the v4 version because there is TCP tinting and it's a critical feature for me.
THANKS VERY MUCH LAMPSHADE AND WITTI!!! <3

New to Reaper, downloaded a bunch of themes, this theme is great and it's my default. Thank you!
For some reason I can't change the media item edge highlight color?

Great work
This theme is excellent.
Just a comment about all themes, why aren't they made so the person that uses them can use the tints to make them what ever color strikes their mood of the day?

As much as I love this theme, how can I have the track names aligned fully left? I find it a bit stupid that all text is centered.

A really great effort. I do like your theme a lot, maybe you can consider some modifications:
1) Left allign Track names option.
2) Adding some more smaller TCP layouts (found in other themes), for example:
- Only text
- Text [FX] [M] [S]
3) Adding some more MCP layouts:
- Small Separator
- Narrow
Anyway well done !!

Greetings.
Layout 15. Meter on Top - Narrow is tasty
If you want to have track FX, set mcp.extmixer.mode [0] in rtconfig.txt, row 1158.
----
Unpack your ReaperThemeZip and mess with something in rtconfig, set tcp.label.margin look suspicious.
----
Open up item_bg_sel.png graphics with Gimp or something, change to what ever you like.
If you make the white transparent for ex, then Reaper can color it depending on your settings in the rtconfig, v4 vs v5, v5 supports alpha transparency (opacity thingie)
Fully transparent will get most color, lower that with some xx opacity on a black brush if you want less.
----
Some text about v5 tinting, tinttcp/peaksedges, think witti added comments in his paulie mod also.
Windows10 calculator do have programmer mode to calc binaries etc.
http://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=164862
----
Stay curious and experiment, it just a theme, not OS hack.
Try to keep it simple and ignore the fancy extras, just make a fixed sized mcp/tcp and the code looks friend'er, less text anyway.
Just start/try, and after that, to late, you have started and welcome to the club.
If you put ; before code, you turn stuff off without removing the code, so, everything except?
----
Ps, I am no expert and on top of that, li'll rusty, but many nitpicks are simple pretty soon'ish I tell ya.

Absolutely amazing theme! Just one addition - is it possible to make Auto Rec Arm icon in TCP when Auto Rec Arm is activated (something like record icon with "A" letter)? Anyway, this theme is 10/10 and it's my go-to theme now

Thanks a lot man! Rocks badly!
Install: Go to menu: options, in reaper and go to Show REAPER recourse path in explorer, paste the item inside ColorThemes, and might need restart I am not sure, but then you go to options again, and on to themes, and there it is!
Awesome work my man, you saved a composer

It shows just fine here on both Lampie's original and Witti's mod, different colors though.
Just make sure you have selected the right midi ch, rec arm and maby monitor on, check preferences midi devices, stuff like that.
It's in Theme development tweaker -> VU meter midi activity, to change color.
Like, does it show midi on other themes?
Note diff topic: Lampie's original have forgotten to front the folder, so the hitbox is small, witti have fixed that on his mod.
Ps, Greg, did you manage?

reatune problem
I love this theme! It's really the best I've ever used.
But there's this little annoying thing which force me to go back to default when i do vocal tuning with ReaTune. Please see image below
There's no color difference between notes, both in auto correction and manual correction
Maybe i can fix this myself, but i have really no experience in theming or theme editing, can someone point me in the right direction?
EDIT
just found the solution, if someone's interested it's linked to the track background color difference between odd and even tracks in the theme tweaker, see image below

Hey guys,
Very cool theme...
I'd like to have transport controls center.
Ive done some initial digging and I see that Walter is where I can do this.
In time I will be looking at the sdk as Im interested in tinkering a bit!
But schedule is quite hectic for next weeks to learn properly - is this something that can be quickly enabled by entering new coordinates and could someone potentially pass me the code so I can adjust the rtconfig and adjust to taste?
Or does changing the coordinates potentially break other stuff??
I have this desire for lots of themes so would be really handy to know how to do this!
