Love it!

The toolbar buttons are quite minimalistic in telling me if they are on or off though. Other than that I adore it. Thank you.

Not much has ever tempted me to move from Apollo Dark but this one has, many thanks. Running on dual monitors and it really looks superb.

Would prefer a slider on the volume but its not a killer.

Nice and clean, I love it! Could we have narrower channels in the mcp? This could become my laptop theme for sure. Thanks, man!

I love it! Very well done!
maybe just a bit of visible line separation between insert slots on the mixer... and a more visible level of the sends in the mixer. (like JanneHybrid)

question. Is it possible to automatically change the layout for mixer and TCP at the same time? i.e: changing a TCP track layout to Red fader, would automatically change the same MCP track layout to Red fader too.
Probably not possible, but it would make sense.

go to view/screenset/layouts

There you will find 20 possible actions for selecting layouts. Set two action- one for tcp and one for mcp and then combine them as a macro with a newcustom action.
You can assign it to a keycommand or combine it with a mouse modifier

Hope this helps

My new default theme! Amazing stuff!

Just a minor question: is there a way to show db scales on mixer faders, but not on TCP faders?

There is a way but not in preferences Im afraid. Its in WALTER.

tcp.meter.scale.color.lit.bottom

tcp.meter.scale.color.lit.top

tcp.meter.scale.color.unlit.bottom

tcp.meter.scale.color.unlit.top

These should be set to [0 0 0 0]

Didnt notice this because I dont use scales for the meter.

I can make a layout without scales for the next update.

This looks awesome. However, i'm having an issue where the toggle states of some of the default toolbar icons look the same. Is there a way to fix this?

If they are toolbars with text change the toobar lit color (see on the screenshot- 1.) and then save the theme (2.)

If they are the toolbars from the default theme I dont have any control over them

The problem is that the toolbar_blank.png in the theme has no difference between "pressed" and "not pressed". If you edit that file edit the third button in it and you will be able to see the difference.

This theme really is the cleanest and still best looking theme I've ever used. Thanks a lot!!!

But I'd also appreciate having an option to narrow the mixer channels

EDIT:
Would it be possible to overlay the meter with the fader and maybe delete the spaces between margin, meter, fader and buttons?

nice update. You listen to the people

One thing I've missed while working with it for a while now is that selected tracks in TCP and MCP are not very different from unselected tracks. But that's a common issue in many Reaper themes. I solved it with a 1 pixel 100% alpha yellow border around selected track. But that's is a matter of preference. Maybe for some people it is not so important to see which is current track selection.

Another setting in theme editor I like is to use the draw colored bar on selected media and active takes like this:

Its working for the text toolbars. There is no other option than changing the text color for custom toolbars. But it has to be an action that has a toggle state to be working

Ive provided the theme with the necessary essential main toolbar graphics. some custom toolbars maybe in near future. There are just too many and it takes a very long time to make good graphic interpretations.

hope this helps

For me the difference included now is enough. Its a matter of person preference as you said. Ill take a look at it for the next update.

Unfortunately no. Meters are a special graphic element in REaper and are on top of every other element and cannot be overlayed with as you proposed a fader or some other button.

By the way, what are the two different layouts for the master channel? When I change the layout I don't see any difference... just interested
