Default How to Floating Track Inspector Under Mouse

Hello
would love your help in this, sorry for english

Is it possible to create a Floating Track Inspector Under Mouse?
I created a Cycle action to view a small mixer, a track inspector,
The only thing missing is get Mouse position, and to open the mixer in that place, which i wonder if its possible.
The downside of this method is that, when ill use the Layout with the small mixer, I can't use another big mixer at the same time without changing a layout, so to a sub question, is an Independent Track inspector like in the picture exist without using the mixer?

Thank you!

Thanks for the idea. I'll do it for next version of Track Inspector
right now it can be floating, but always in the same position. I can add an option to be floating at mouse position.

I've just realized that I don't need to change it, since it is already possible to do it. You have to include Track Inspector in a new custom action

Float Track Inspector instance.
then use this custom action
  • Track: Select track under mouse
  • Script: HeDa_Track Inspector VIP.lua
  • SWS/BR: Move active floating window to mouse cursor (horizontal: right, vertical: middle)
not perfect but it's something.

First of all, Thank you for The Inspector!

I didn't know about this action,
Works very good in opening the Inspector in custom action, but I can't seem to make it a toggle using cycle actions, that another click would close it

Question about The Track Inspector, Is it possible to use dbfs meter?

yes it has full scale meter too.
the solution I said is not perfect because it is stealing focus so I am changing some things to make it better.

ok... got it working better now.
here in this gif demo I am pressing letter Q to show it, and Q again to close it. I have assigned the letter Q to a custom action that first selects track under mouse, and then starts Track Inspector_Floating (a new special instance dedicated to it) It doesn't steal the arrange focus. And it opens close to mouse position and for the track under mouse.

Thank you Rob
Thanks to all of your donations it keeps me motivated to keep updating it. It tells me it is worth to keep doing it since it is interesting enough that some people donate. If you read the changelog, it seems it never ends heh. It started as a small Track Inspector idea thing, but it now has more features than just an inspector. I'm finishing some initial documentation page too. I have also recorded some videotutorials for the main features, but I don't know if finish all of them and release them at once or start uploading them as I finish them. I like your videotutorials by the way.
