Default Reaper won't load EZ Mix 2 plug in

Hey everyone,
I just purchased EZ Mix 2 and downloaded it along with a 6 pack of ez mix bundles. For some reason, Reaper won't load it up. I put it the right file path, but when I hit apply, then OK, nothing happens.
Please help!!

when you say you put in file path.. is that in the VST folder locations?

If so re-scan then EZmix should show up in your FX

thanks so much for the reply,
when I click on the stand alone version of exmix, it has a help button that if clicked, shows the file path which is: C:ProgramFiles\steinberg\VstPlugins\Toontrack\EZmi x.dll

I wrote that in myself and click apply then ok. Nothing happens. I even hit re scan and nothing happens.

Man, still can't get Reaper to load up ez mix 2.
Any one out there have any ideas?
Again the file path I got from the EZ mix stand alone is
C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins\Toontrack\EZmix.dll
I put that in the VST box and nothing happens.
Please help. I'm a bit of a newbie.
Thanks

check the folder permissions for that folder right click in explorer it is probably restriceted. Or ideally install in a non restricted folder

this is all you should need in reaper as long as it has access to the folder

C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins\Toontrack\

with the non restricted folder that is now in the VST box, I click "clear cache/rescan" and another box pops up for half a second like it wants to do something, but nothing happens. very frustrating.

For anyone who ends up here in 2023, the DLL is at:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST2\Toontrack\EZmixDemo.dll (at least for the demo version)
and by default my Reaper VST plug-ins path (Options>Preferences>VST) did not include VST2 in Common Files. Adding it and re-scanning did the trick. Hope it helps someone else!
