Non EZMix over EZMix for me. The drums in the EZMix version have very unflattering compression choices. They have a bit of a hollow/sucked down sense and some of the detail that the compression is bringing out like the ringing in the ride is unpleasant.

The drums are the main thing that I notice. Hard to tell with the guitars because they are not level matched well. They seem to be a bit more forward in the EZMix version due to being more mid heavy, but that could be a level/perception thing.

Both mixes are a bit anemic on the low end though, and I'm generally not fond of the sound of that kick, but this part is subjective.

Other than the compression choices with the drums, pick one and go. Your ears are more important than the tools you use. Stick with something and try not to second guess yourself.

Thank you very much!

It's a new drum sampler.

#11.3 for me. Sounds ever so slightly less "hollow" than #11.5".

this is not not my kind of Music, but I like the tempo on the second one, though I didn't like the drum sound. something in between when it comes to the drums would be perfect.
