When grid is on, "Item: Paste items/tracks at mouse position" action behaves inaccurate.
When mouse cursor is located between the red arrow and right grid line, the copied item is attached to the right grid line (as shown in the picture). And when mouse cursor located between the red arrow and left grid line, the copied item is attached to the left grid line.
Maybe point of demarcation (red arrow on the picture) should be right in the middle between the two grid lines?
