Default ReaSamplOmatic (RSO) question

Hi,
I have an arpeggiated sample that I would like to use with RSO.
It plays fine, the only thing is, that when I hit a higher note, it's not only played higher, but also faster, and when I play a lower note, the sample is played slower. Is that how it should be?
Cheers,

Yes, that's how it works, as you raise the pitch from the root, the pitch gets higher and the sample note gets shorter. If you lower the pitch, the sample note gets longer and the pitch gets lower.

If you've got any kind if a recorded rhythm or modulation it the sample, then that will speed up or down.

I'd look for some kind of JS MIDI plugin that can send control signals to ReaPitch.
