Ooh, this sounds interesting! Which functions does it refer to?

Not that interesting really, just faster calls to reaper.SWS_*/BR_*/etc. Slightly faster, anyway...

The video reverse playback performance improvement, does that mean you're caching video frames now ?

Sidenote question: Could I cache the entire session in RAM via a large enough media buffer setting? (Building my new machine today and if all goes well I can test that idea with 32GB of RAM myself soon.)

That should give even better performance for video playback.

It means it reads a second or so of frames and plays them backwards. You can't cache all of the video frames of a session, they would be way, way, way too big.

Caching the disk files might be enough. Hope to see that in action later today.

The presets for the theme tweaker sound. Lifting the kilt I'd say. I'm always tweaking a colour or two.

Seems like some weird velocity editing behaviour here, but I can't seem to duplicate it with my settings somehow...

I can duplicate it on a untouched 5.29 portable.
It looks like it somehow has to do with whether you select the highest, the middle or the lowest notes
In 5.30pre2 the same project from this thread ED mentions it does this (differs from 5.29):

Are those notes all in the same MIDI channel? Could you possibly crop out just that part of the project and post it?

@schwa: Yes they all are channel 1. What you see in my gif is the "whole" project, there are only these notes, user "TryingToMakeMusic" posted it here just for testing purpose.
I suggest you download it from the link, then you have the original.

Cheers,
Peter
