Will RPR run on a mac/intel macbook pro??

one of my friends is really interested in RPR for his writing rig, but being wanted me to ask about compatability..

Also, will the mac version of RPR (when it's out) be able to use AU plugs from other daws. (I was showing him how some of my Steinberg VST's will open in RPR)

Works on my iMac on OSX 10.4?...I run it in Boot Camp XP mainly though, works flawless and fast.
