Custom Action for turning FX tail into a "Swell FX"
Have a look at this:
https://youtu.be/0mjxeMydOZI
Explanation:
Create an FX chain on an Item, with some kind of FX tail (be it delay alike or reverb alike).
Execute the Custom Action.
Optional: Remove the FX Chain from the original Item.
Outcome: the FX tail will be "converted" to an upcoming swell FX audio Item.
This item is placed on a new Track, ready to be processed even more or for little shifting in time.
Here's downloadlink for the Custom Action:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...aperKeyMap.zip
IMPORTANT BEFOREHAND:
- Make sure you have Reapack installed.
- Make sure you have this repository from me2beats, added in Reapack:
https://github.com/me2beats/reapack/...ster/index.xml
Import the Custom Action into your Reaper Action List and assign it to a custom keycommand !
Many thanks to me2beats.
Warm Regards.

So how do I add that repository to Reapack? Am I supposed to copy/paste to a text document and name it something?

- Reaper Menu on top of the Arrange View > Choose Extensions > ReaPack >
" Import a repository"
Then copy paste "https://github.com/me2beats/reapack/...ster/index.xml"
into the URL field and click on OK button.
Now all me2beats scripts will be imported in your Reaper Action List.
Warm Regards.

That didn't work because of the shortened URL. I opened in another tab and copied the URL from there and it worked. Then after the import, I ran "synchronize packages" and it brought in 300 me2beats scripts.

Okay, well I've clicked around repeatedly and I can't seem to find what this is or where it's located?
I'm using the Reaper 4 skin, if that matters.

I assume you don't have Reapack installed, yet.
Please visit this page, on how to download and install Reapack (it's free!):

Actually now that I think about it, I've been using JS Bass Professor which comes with ReaPack. I just forgot where it is on the menu
