Default (5.40) Clicks on looping with UAD

I'm getting clicks from all of my UAD plugins when looping. It clicks loudly when the play cursor hits the end of the loop and goes back around. Disabling the UAD plugin eliminates the click. UAD synchronization mode makes the click louder. Anticipative FX and flush FX options don't solve it either.

On, Windows 10 Pro 64, Reaper 5.40 x64

Are you using AU or VST versions of UAD plugins?

I think there is an ever growing list of minor to moderate issues between REAPER and UAD and it would be great if a closer look at UAD compatibility could happen.

Good to know. UAD doesn't officially support REAPER and while UAD works relatively well in REAPER, there seems to be apprehension or resistance by the REAPER devs to go all in on UAD support. I know they work hard day after day and do more than most DAWs to support 3rd party plugins, but of all the main plugin vendors out there, UAD is the one I see the most small quirks with.

I wish I had known that before spending a ton of doll hairs on UAD gear and plugins! I'm wondering if I should sell all my UAD stuff at this point or hold out for more support.

Devs, are there any plans to improve support for UAD on Reaper's end?

I can also confirm that these clicks happen on render as well.

I wouldn't sell the UAD stuff, I think they make really great plugins and hardware. I use UAD in REAPER and WaveLab which are not technically supported by UAD but work pretty well. Some little quirks pop up here and there but for me, it's nothing worth selling UAD over.

Have you tried with the AU versions? Perhaps your issue for now could be solved with some setting/preferences related to playback/latency/buffering/PDC etc.

Also, some of the great UAD plugins are available natively too from Plugin Alliance, Sonnox, etc.

I do hope that someday UAD is better supported in REAPER by either one or both parties.

Do you know where the AU plugins would be located on Win 10? Only VST shows up for me
