TCP or MCP?

The tcp no meterscale just hides the scale on the meter when turned on in preferences.

I didnt do any additional layouts for the mixer master channel.

I refer to this option:

I doesn't change anything on the master track. Doesn't actually matter, I was just curious.

It turns off the meter scale if you have the preferences/VuMeters/show db scale option enabled.

Really digging this theme after using it for a bit during a session the other day. This probably going to replace my old favorite. I would love to see some more MCP and Master Mixer layouts (especially a big meter ones).

Janne, I was asking about the main toolbar. The image you have shows different icon colors for toggled/untoggled options. Am I missing something? If I toggle/untoggle snap, for example, the icon does not change state or color. It looks like you have already done it.

Thanks much again for an awesome theme!

hmmm.... strange. I tried on three different comps and all have working toolbars.

Try to delete the theme by going to options/show reaper resources

Search for Color themes folder there and locate the theme file and delete it. Then redownload the theme and just drag the file over the arrange window.

May I suggest a thing?
On MCP, can you make empty sends and inserts more as separated slots? I think even just bare black line would be good. (I'm mainly going to use the narrow layout, so if you want to do it only on one, then..)

I find it to distracting for the eyes and its misaligning (because it autoscales when making the mixer bigger.) with the current insert and sen design I have.

Also I dont see the point because wherever you click Reaper automaticly adds the insert at the top. Sends have knobs visible for orientation.

This sounds like the same problem...

The toolbar blank png is meant for the text toolbars and has no conection with the functionality of default main toolbar icons which have their own separate images. The ones with toggle state all have 2 different images(sliced 3way buttons). one for off and one for on state. djjedidiah is talking about the 3way button system not different images.

One last option to try that I can think of is(but please take note its quite drastic):

Firstly go to preferences/global and use the export settings just in case. Tick al the boxes in the dialog and save the reaperconfig file on desktop (this file will include a backup of all your Reaper settings)

Then go to Options/show reaper resources and locate reaper.ini. move this file to your desktop (but do not delete it!) and restart reaper.
This will reset your reaper aplication. THen test if toolbars work and import the reaperconfig file back in prefrences/global/import settings.

very nice Janne

I've noticed that second level children tracks (children of children tracks) have a 1 pixel line at the left (before the margin).

I think the pixel belongs to the line that shows which level the child track is:

Thanks Janne,

That's awesome!

I've set up so a double click changes selected MCP to Sidebar and Shift+Double click changes all MCPs back to normal (Folders Red Fader). It's a beautiful thing!!

a small bug: in TCP layouts, "MCP Red Fader" should be renamed to "TCP Red Fader".

I gues it's not possible to "merge" the two layouts Red Fader and Narrow, right?
So if we wanted to have coloured faders on narrow channels, you had to create a particular layout?

Thats correct. I will add them eventually. you have to create an individual layout for each such options.

Silly question. How do I get the horizontal meter? I can get the vertical and the big, but no horizontal.

Thanks in advance.

Janne83 this theme is awesome. So Clean and easy to see. It will be my new default for sure.

<FR>Feature Request: Is there a possibility you could add a narrow and wide spacer(Blank Track) in each MCP and TCP layouts?

The theme is very nice to work with. It deserves all the good feedback is getting here.

question:
how can I change the background of the buttons that are activated (ON) like a text icon button or a button with an icon that is from the default reaper's theme? I mean the background, not the text color. In reaper's default theme the background is brighter and it is easier to see if the button is pressed or not.

FR:
- it would be nice to also have bottom margin on children tracks in MCP like some themes have.

- also the combinations of narrow and sidebar with the color faders.

Separators will be added in future updates.

Just please note that thre TCP one cannot be made fixed heigth due to REaper TCP scalability design.

For changing the toolbar pngs you have to open the Reaperthemezip package (winzip, 7z or winrar will do). And youll get two elements a reapertheme file and the images folder. Exchange the toolbar pngs in the images folder(they are named toolbar_....png). When done youll have to zip back the reapertheme file and the images folder and youll get the
insertthemename.zip file. Then just rename the extension from .zip to .ReaperThemeZip with the rename function in Win or Get info on mac.

- Botom margin wont work with this design. Sorry

- Color faders for narrow layout are on the way

I encountered a small bug when you have a 3rd level child track and below it a normal track (no child):

As you can see there's missing a small part of the black line.

Actually its not a bug. Its a silly way that REaper handles images for folder indents. it somehow nudges the image for the 2nd, 3rd,...child row for one pixel.

Well just have to live with this for the time being
