Default advice re: creating screengrab tuition videos with voiceovers

I need to do some screengrab-with-voiceover video, to teach someone how to use Reaper. Like the stuff you get on YouTube.

Can anyone advise what's the best/easiest way to do this? Obviously I want it to record the audio of my voice through a mic as well as the sound of playback from Reaps.

I tried using Quicktime screen recording, but it's not picking up the Reaper playback. I know I can do live bounce from reaper and I guess edit it into the vid, but is there a way of doing this in one go without having to edit?

Cheers

It's been a few years since I did anything like that but I used a program called Cam Studio. It used to be a commercial program but I looked it up and it's now freeware (with donations welcomed). As it's free, give it a try. Here's a link > http://camstudio.org/

Edit: I know it was easy to use because I'm not the brightest bulb in the room when it comes to technology and I didn't have a problem using it.

Thanks for that, will definitely give that a whirl!

And now I'm going to move the goalpoasts... I would also like some Mac software that does the same thing...

Screenflow is by far the best and pretty decent for editing too. I prefer editing in that than iMovie or Final Cut. I tried a bunch of apps and most were low quality, incomplete or too complicated. Screenflow is best value.

It's for Mac!
