Comparison?

Hello everyone! Just want to say that the more I use Reaper the more I can't get enough of it! Wish I found it sooner...
...I also have a question about interfaces. Forgive me if I'm posting this in the wrong board. I really don't know too much...but I'm currently using an older MBox 2 Mini on a custom build PC. I was wondering if and how much of an upgrade would be if I got an E-MU 0404 PCIe. I know the sample rate is higher, and it's pretty cheap. Does anyone have experience with these? I also realize the EMU doesn't have mic pres...
