Could you give an example of why this would be used. Thanks.

If I understand this correctly, a "tilt" in this instance would be a boost of one end of the frequency spectrum with a corresponding reduction on the other end.

Raise the highs, lower the lows, and vice versa.

Perhaps this would be used in correcting an over-zealous hip-hop track that wanted to blow out the subwoofer cones.

I'd also want to see a "smile/frown" feature, where mid-frequency scoops could be fixed.

Well, sTilt simultaneously boosts and cuts (tilts) audio spectrum around a given center frequency. Use it to warm up or cool off a track, to add contrast/clarity in your mix where needed.

I find myself using tilt eqs more and more, a really underappreciated tool in my opinion. Great with a new, free version to try out as well.

Sounds very interesting.

Can we have a non-installer version that can simply be unzipped and dropped into the plugin folder of choice? That would be great.

I did that yesterday with a plugin from Audio Damage, and it installed stuff all over the place. I hate that!

The Inno Setup Unpacker worked just fine

Sorry, I missed that.

And, yeah... "trust is good, control is better" as Stalin allegedly said

Tilt EQ's are awesome mixing tools.

Sometimes a channel just needs to be brighter or darker, without affecting the relative frequency balance therein.

In instances where the sound is already well recorded, and doesn't need any frequencies "corrected" but rather just needs to be mixed with the rest of the tracks.

Hey Thomas,
first of all thanks a lot for your awesome plugins, you're the man!

I just installed sTilt and I really like the new GUI.

There's one problem though...
When you have quality setting at max & turn the knob by dragging the mouse, you get huge CPU spikes. Funny thing is, this doesn't happen when you use the mousewheel.

I'm on Windows 7 64bit - REAPER 64bit

Greetings from Nürnberg

Well, max. quality uses 32k FFT to make linear slope from 0 - 22kHz.
In this case fast parameter changes could cause spikes on slower CPUs.

I almost expected this response. Max quality is pretty insane
But my CPU is a Intel Core i7-5820K, so I'm definitely not on the slow side.
