Couple quick tips when you get EZ drummer working
http://www.godprobe.com/projects/notemaps/
That link has a bunch of the EZE notemap files. They are just text documens, just save them somewhere handy. You need at least the DFH txt file
On your EZD track open the piano roll editer (you can just put a empty midi item on the EZdrummer track and double click it to open) and "load note names from file" and browse to the DFH files you downloaded pick one (i think there are 3 in varying levels of complexity)
look at
"Mode: named notes" this gets rid of the piano.. usless for drums
then check out
"Show/hide note rows"
youll likely use "Hide unused and unnamed note rows"
"Piano roll notes"
Youll use diamonds or triangles for drums
You can search the user manual for the terms i have in quotes
This will help get the editor much streamlined for drum editing.
once you get the EZdrummer loaded onto a track the way you want it,
Select all the tracks related to EZ drummer and save a "track template".
Then you can load this track template at any time and it will recall it with all this work done.
