Default FL Studio Slide - which midi message is this?

FL Studio has this functionality in its piano roll called "slide". If you draw a slide note in the piano roll, the currently played note will slide, or glissando, to the slide note's pitch. Most synths that come with FL support this slide function.

I want my synth to support this, too. Is this a specific midi message I could handle in the midi queue? If so, does anyone know which part of the midi message this is?

Hi Caiminatrix-

This only works for native FLS synths, not VSTis. It's not part of the MIDI standard.

MIDI continuous controller (CC) 65 is used for enabling/disabling portamento (glide), and CC 5 sets the portamento time (although there is no standard as to the mapping of values to durations).

Right, but have you seen the way FLS implements this? It's very cool, but works only with native FLS synths, unfortunately. It's much less fiddly than with VSTis.
