Default stop cursor scrolling?

Normally I LIKE it when the cursor scrolls with the song, but now im working on project that requires me to have an overview of the whole timeline but whenever I hit play the cursor tweens to the middle of the timeline, and the audio centres on that, often losing view of the beginning.
How can I turn off this functionality,. effectively "locking" the timeline to a particular view.
I still need to zoom in and move around manually, just dont want this Auto scroll thing...
...for now.. Sure Ill miss it when its gone...

Default

Menu Options > Automatically scroll view during playback.

Turn it off.
