Reaper can't find my VST 2.4 plugin (moved from compatibility forum)

Running 64-bit Reaper on my Windows 7 64-bit machine. Built a VST plugin using VST SDK 2.4 and Visual Studio Community 2013. The entry point is called VstPluginMain, which is correct for VST SDK 2.4, and Reaper just can't find the plug-in. I have refreshed/cleared the plug-in cache, restarted Reaper. Can't think of anything else to try.

Should I post this in the Reaper developer forum?

Did you build the plugin as 64 bit? Did you copy the built plugin file to a place where Reaper can find it? (It's usually best to add a build step that does that automatically.)

Thanks. Yes, I built 64-bit and put the dll in a place Reaper can find it. Reaper is able to find other plug-ins in the directory.
