3.13pre7

Build this simple macro to reproduce the issue:

*Insert new track
*Remove selected tracks

Reaper will crash.

Application Failure: reaper.exe
version: 3.1.2.7
module: reaper.exe
version: 3.1.2.7
offset: 000e43d4

NOTE: offset is always the same.

These 2 actions are part of a macro. I just narrowed the problem down to them

Confirmed with BSOD. But I think that's again Realtek+A4A combo.

And a strange macro indeed

Another thing: when we open the Action window from Menu editor, and click Close in Menu editor, both windows close.

BUT; if we call Menu editor FROM the Action window, and then press Close in Menu editor, shouldn't Action window remain opened, since it was there first? Currently, both windows close, and this is not desired behavior!

Correct. Actions list should remain opened.

If you open the menu editor from the action window, the action window closes immediately (since you ran the action).

Err nm I see, if you opened the action window elsewhere, it shouldn't close. Got it, and fixing.

@ Justin: any chance of knocking this one on the head soon?
http://forum.cockos.com/project.php?issueid=552

--note: this isn't the only way to reproduce it, i.e. this isn't the only instance in which the bug affects my usage. It's a frustrating one. :-)

(Sorry to post it again in the same thread.)

rc1 OSX Intel:

Changin track height via mouse is kind of broken.
http://screencast.com/t/0e2HtpWyd7

I can change it stepwise but have to click on the track after each step to make the next step.

This is definitivly broken in 3.13.
I tested it in 3.13pre6 and it works.

I can not longer change the track height via mouse. works only step-wise.
OSX Intel Leopard 10.5.8
Tested on mac mini and macbook pro.

Can no-one duplicate this one?

But, we could add another option to the plugin IO menu (where "allow VST to send/modify MIDI" option is), like "monitor both input and output MIDI" or something.
I'm really missing this midi passthrough "bug" since 3.13 upgrade.
I'm used to set up piles of midi plugins for drums replacement.
I use Kontatk 3, BFD and BFD2 sometimes in the same FX chain to allow me to use samples from these different plugs at the same time.
Since 3.13 only the first plugin in the chain responds to midi events, not the others. And there is no option in these plugs to let midi through.
This changed my life !

An option as you described would be much appreciated.
By the way, where is this "plugin IO menu" in Reaper ? Can't find it anywhere.

If you have a plugin that eats MIDI, right click the plugin IO button (which usually says something like "2 out") and select MIDI output/merge with input.
