Default [5.16] Lockup when Uncheck "Show FX Inserts when size permits" (FIXED)

I did a cursory search and didn't find anything on this.

- Start a New Project
- Add a track (nothing on it)
- Click the settings on the Master Track in the Mixer (pic 1)
- Uncheck "Show FX Inserts when size permits"
- (pic 2) happens

I can reproduce this every time I follow the steps. Using Windows 7 SP1, 64 bit Intel i7 4770k, 16GB DDR3, Focusrite 2i4.

I'm unable to reproduce. Could you post your reaper.ini file please?

Also, what theme are you using? Do you have an extensions installed or ReaScripts running?

If you could create a crash image dump, by opening task manager, right click on "reaper.exe", and do "Create Dump File", that would be most helpful!

Due to attachment limitations, linked from my GoogDrive: Reaper Dump file.

The theme I'm using is Default_Commala_5 and I have the SWS Extensions installed. No scripts running to my knowledge.

Strange thing. I had moved some of the UI elements around (I moved the Master Track out of the Mixer and into its own Dock) and had trouble reproducing what I reported. But then, moving the Master Track back into the Mixer allowed me to recreate the crash. Just making note of it here in case it helps.

Thanks for looking into it.

Thanks! I'm pretty sure it is the theme causing this (though I'm fixing the root cause). In the mean time, you can edit this line in the theme rtconfig.txt:

Code:
mcp_min_height 0
Change the value from 0 to 1 and it should fix.
