Okay I just can't wait anymore so I'm releasing the last song now.
Come Monday I should have the bulk download ready and I'll post it as well.
Anyways here is the final chapter of "Detritus".
Its called "Aurapture" and the lyrics were written by my lifelong friend Tim Taylor.
And they are VERY good.
So shocked at how good this song turned out.
It's our favorite and I hope its yours too
After listening, the album cover art makes a bit more sense.
Anyways here ya go:

Lyrics:
One time not long ago,
there was a tree that wouldn't grow.
The sun it shined and the rains they came,
The seed was alive, the seed was alive.
The skies darkened and the moon arose.
Fire stormed and hate forbode.
Love shined down and poured forth aim,
The seed survived, the seed survived.
Roots shot down, a sprig shot out,
A trunk & limbs & leaves did sprout.
Blossoms burst, fruit dispersed.
Life began, life again.
The moon cried and it cast a seed,
The first tree i will surely bleed.
I will grow and be the same.
With more fruit i shall remain.
A different tree sprung from the ground
One that moved and wasn't bound.
A trunk & limbs & fruit he owned,
He was a tree, a tree alone.
To his surprise, a perfect mate did arise.
Word was to be fruitful and multiply.
They did as good trees were told,
Until hate snuck in, that hate of old.
Wearing clothes of the gardens guest,
The hateful serpent began to protest.
All of us trees must eat and eat well.
Must we not eat of that tree as well?
What tree do you mean?
asked the tree who could move.
The tree that is bearing
the forbidden fruit?
I'm wasting my time
asking this one to hate,
The serpent he thought,
I'll ask his mate.
So the hate coiled up
and took the same pose
and beguiled the trees mate
with deceptive prose.
The moon laughed with joy
when the hate's deed was done
but the seed from the first tree's still here...
and more are to come.
