Default 5.1 Reverb on the cheap

I need some 5.1 reverb action. I was thinking of linking three reverbs on the master channel, one for L/R, one for Ls/Lr and one for C/Sub. While not a true multichannel reverb, it should work nice.

Now, putting that into play. I assume that I load three stereo reverbs into the FX dialog box. Then I assign the pins for routing audio to each. 1-2 in and out of the first, 3-4 in and out of the second, and 5-6 in and out of the third.

I havent actually done it yet, so does this seem right?

You'll have better luck placing the main reverb in some spot in the surround field and building the ambiance front to back and/or side to side with small delays. (Much like you would build stereo ambiance with a reverb unit and delays in stereo but now with an added dimension.)

That's what a 5.1 reverb unit would do for you. Just arbitrarily pushing all channels (including the Lfe?!?) to the reverb would be extremely crude. You want to create a 3D space in surround. That's part of the point of the system.
