Default Track background color

Since I came from Cool Edit background, I'd really like to have my recorded tracks wav files to look the same, w/background. Any idea how to achieve this? I looked in the settings, but couldn't figure out changing the track colors only.

Much like the adobe audition theme.

IF you look further up in list- you can do the same for the media items then if you like you can Save Theme.

Default additional track color help

How can I set the custom color to the background of each track instead of the wave file? e.g. in the picture of reaper on the main website.

Correct - double click the color boxes and you will be presented with the color palette.

You can get an AA3 theme here:

http://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=20998

or a Cool Edit theme here:

http://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=11357

Download and extract the theme you want to your Program Files/REAPER/ColorThemes directory, and select the theme in Reaper under Options > Color Themes

If you just want to change the background colors only, shredder's pic shows where they are.

I use that AA theme, by the way. Didn't know how to thank you for it, but this seems like an appropriate place. Every time I think about going for something new, I come back to it. Nice work.
