Artificial Grass on walls to Cutdown Reflections?
Would artificial grass on the walls help to cut down on reflections and slightly deaden the sound of the room?
The room I use for recording is 3m x 4m, and although I have bookshelves and pictures on on the walls (plus a couch and a couple of desks), there is still a lot of echo. I have some artificial grass that I could put onto a wall. The grass is quite thick, with each strand about 4cm long.

If you already have it, give it a go.
I would guess that it will SLIGHTLY reduce the high end stuff but not affect anything other than that.
Assuming this is the stuff somewhat similar to cheerleaders pompom material but with shorter stands?
Hmmmm.....cheerleaders....

Be aware that this will have no effect at all in the lower freq region.
Rooms with too much high-freq absorption and no low-freq absorption tend to sound dull and boomy and can even make you feel uncomfortable - you maybe know that weird "pressure on the ears" feeling.

.
You DO realize that by asking this question you could be starting a serious TURF WAR!...
Like maybe the little one that just recently occurred in Waco Texas?

LOL. Take the day you were going to put into doing and then un-doing this, use it to make some money, and then buy a proper absorber with it...
