Default Is there a setting for zoom level with mousewheel ?

i think it zooms way to fast in both arrange and midi editor when using the mousewheel .

can it be dialed down ?

I had the same problem with scrolling...
You can make a custom action and just add the Action "Modify MIDI CC/mouswheel: -10%" a couple of times or "Modify MIDI CC/mousewheel: 0.5x" before the actual zooming action and bind that to the mousewheel.

Problem solved (hopefully)

EDIT: don't forget to check "consolidate undo-points" in the Action editor before saving your custom action.

in the arrange view that worked thank you .. in the midi editor not sadly

oh, I think you may have to make those actions 2 times, because there are seperate "Sections" for Actions (Main, Midi,...).
You can see that in the upper right corner of the actions-window...here you can choose your desired section.
I guess you just have to make those actions for the midi-section again and remap there also and then it should work in the midi-editor too.

yes thanx .. awesome ..

so do you also have a trick that when zooming the midi editor it doesn´t snap to the left edge of the editor but stays in place?
