Default Webcam Audio Setup

I am trying to get the audio from my Analog 1/2 in Reaper on my RME HDSPe AIO card into Flash Media Encoder but I get no signal.

On my old XP computer using the onboard Realtek soundcard I could do this from the Volume control mixer by specifying recording options, then the Stereo mix.

Does anyone have any idea on what to do basically?

The Legacy Nvidia Audio Drivers should work, they offer better audio control, working wdm driver and a pretty good asio driver.

Thank you Andy for tip , however I think this issue has more to do with my soundcard.

Its a Professional grade audio card, but for right now I just cant seem to figure out how to simply get the sound from Reaper playback output on Analog 1/2 into Flash Media Encoder.

FME does list the cards line INPUTS however (Analog 1/2) as a recording source.
But again I simply want to have the sound coming out of Reaper on Analog OUTPUT 1/2 into FME.

I am using the cards ASIO drivers in Reaper.

After some experimenting though with Virtual Audio Cable, I was in fact successfully able to get the Analog 1/2 output into Flash Media Encoder but by using Wave Ouput in Reaper, this wont work though because of the latency, making the drums unplayable etc.

I then tried another experiment by using ReaStream on Reaper Master out and successfully got the output to playback on my old XP machine, which I am able to in fact use the onboard Realtek Stereo Mix as audio source in FME or even LiveStream Procaster. However with this approach, again their still is some latency on my LAN.

But If I cant figure out how to get the output from Reaper into FME using my newer machine
I may end up trying to use the old machine to broadcast the Webcam and audio - either using Reastream on the master out of the new computer or just running an actual audio cable from the new computer directly into the old machines crappy Realtek onboard soundcard. Since I know I can get the audio into FME using XP on this old machine.

I would also then probably run the Webcam on the old machine as well. Unless there was some way I could possibly use something like VLC media player to stream my webcam from my new computer to VLC on my old computer and then hopefully it would sync up with the latency of ReaStream audio also being sent from the new computer to the older XP one.

Thanks again though Andy for offering your help.

BTW - on the FME setup tutorial you had on Ninbot, you mention to uncheck
the broadcast audio box in FME? So how do you broadcast the Ninjam audio then?

Do you or anyone use Windows 7 with FME when you do your Webcam stuff? Do you use Mebeam, Livestream, Justintv Ustream or what predominantly for broadcasting then?

Also if there are a a group of simultaneous webcams of jammers like I have seen you guys do, only one lead admin type jammer must broadcast their local audio mix then? Because you cant have everybody broadcasting audio etc. I would assume.

You could try running JACK for Windows -- it may allow multiple back-ends (their name for sound cards), which would allow you to use ASIO out for your primary output and have a secondary audio stream going to FME via VAC. (Depends if JACK sees VAC, too - it can be picky.)

Hey, I got it working! by learning how to route the seperate outputs on my card so one goes into FME. I also managed to even route the metronome source output to only play locally. I am sure I need more bandwidth though to do this decently.

My card is similar Mutant, I can add sends on asio strips and that gives them outputs that can be pulled in by other applications.
