I like the track, it has a nice vibe.
I listened in mono and the mix sounded fine: nothing seemed to poke out or be too loud.
Personally I think some vocals would give the track more arc, not necessarily all the way through, maybe just in a few places to give it some direction.

Awesome, good news. I would love to have vocals. But honestly don't know where to get them without fearing copyright flags and such. Any idea?
Thanks

You either write some yourself and then sing them or use some from somewhere like sample swap (giving attribution) http://sampleswap.org/filebrowser-ne...SPOKEN+WORD%2F
Using a sampled accapella will mean a lot of trawling through crap until you find something that works.
If you can't sing then consider using a vocoder & pitch shifter (Kenny Gioia's tutorials show what can be achieved this way).
Another alternative would be to use something like Plogue's Alter-Ego ( https://www.plogue.com/products/alterego/), which is free and with some work is doable - especially if you blend it with a real vocal and vocoder.
So you see there are many options.

Interesting thanks a lot. Lots of info here. I've had too many people say all I need are vox. Time to act

You slipped this one in. Love that little squeezy sound that comes in just before the 1 min mark. How do you do your sounds? That is, do you play the synths or program them with midi or a combo?

Hey Sammy. Thanks. As for the Synths I usually program generic midi like a 4 chord progression, then design the patch, then I delete the midi and play in the parts using my computer keyboard. I actually love the way the computer keyboard feels. It's snappy, not expressive of course but snappy.
Sold most of my gear before the move (including my keyboards)

Made some adjustments, uploading now. Sent this one in to some record labels with no response. Might as well try and improve it right!

Annd here it is. Keep in mind its slightly less compressed and overall about .8db quieter. But, with that in mind, does it sound better? Thanks

Not much help here because they both sounded similar to me. There's something I like in v1 over v2 and vice versa, but the difference is so slight, I can't really say what it is.

My ears detect no significant difference, based on one listen each.
It's lightweight/summery, catchy, and I like the production.
Composition wise in general, you seem to have a pretty good grasp on how to produce what sounds like pop to me (I'm still stuck on RISC vs Reward, Tri Repetae, and Leftism so IDK what current pop really is). What I don't hear is taking it that next step forward. In other words, you got today down, but what do you got for tomorrow?
I hope that doesn't sound harsh, and definitely take it with a grain or 6000 of salt, but I think if I'm an A&R guy I'm not hearing tomorrow's hit.
Again, this is coming from someone who would be happy doing mainly remixes and covers and gets pretty "grumpy-old-man" when it comes to that newfangled junk they play on the wireless. "Get that crap off my lawn!" If I hear today in your work, I hear yesterday in mine, so I'm not knocking yours. Nor do I have a suggestion for how to take that next step.

Thanks for the harsh Critique. Wasn't so harsh actually. My goal long term is to develop a sound that is something of the future. The fact that I atleast have today's sound down is a good start. I'll be expirementimg more because of your comment. Thanks a lot.

Not the style that I usually listen to but I thought the mix sounded very good. It was clean and not muddy at all, with good dynamic changes. I must admit I was surprised at first when I kept thinking the first vocal verse was going to start and then it didn't. then I thought, boy this intro is maybe a bit too long, then I realized there are no vocals
