Bug, previously reported:
On project open, audio items shows offline state, not playing.
Fix: "Rebuild peaks"
(Had to run it twice. Once for getting the audio back, second for getting the peaks)

There is another visual cut off at the right side of the logo in the splash screen.

Noticed that my CPU was at 17 per cent with the orcr 3 fix and went to 43 percent with the orc 4 fix.
Went back to orc 3

no project loading status splash
Has been mentioned a few times, I'm not sure if this is something that's abondoned for v4 but at least I get the project loading status splash in v3.
Not so in v4.

Looks like release is going to have to be delayed for several months to make time for this to be fixed

Screenset intial state Issue
At first glance it appears that Screensets are not remembering the Mixer config flags (but that is not it). I called this out several weeks ago, and it is one of the remaining annoyances.
I think the real issue might be that there is no "default" screenset behavior
In particular I see the issue with: - Show master track in mixer flag
- Show multiple rows of tracks when space permits
It shows up when you start with a blank project with "load template project" off.
Because there is no default screen set it boots up with "show mixer" flag and "multiple tracks if space" both true.
If I then select a screen set that has those flags turned off it turns them off. (Thus that is not the issue)
I can't seem to get it to boot up with the last screen set or a default sreen set that has the off states which is required to get an initial Inspector "like" behavior for Tracking.
I realize there is a work around (start with a template), but perhaps a more flexible default look and feel could be reached with Screensets if there was a default one.

I was thinking 3 months, minimum, just to make sure nothing else sneaks through. =(

This one relates to an 'Options' preference so maybe it's meant be enabled and disabled globally via the options>Preferences dialogue not as a tool-bar button or Menu Item?
Or maybe it is a bug either way it works fine switching via the preference dialogue but not as a menu item or button.

there seems to be a bug with compacted children tracks: the bottom edges of the items in those tracks, are visible (and selectable etc)

Pooling
- I enabled the option 'Pool MIDI source data when pasting or duplicating media items' in Media/MIDI (preferences)
When I - Copy an item with CTRL-C and paste it with CTRL-V, the item gets pooled (expected).
- CTRL-Left Drag an item to copy it, it is not pooled. (Not expected).
Shouldn't the item be pooled as well in scenario 2?
I know I can change the mouse modifier, but shouldn't the above option in preferences imply that action?

For maximum flexibility, you can set the behavior individually for the copy/paste actions, or for mouse copying.

be sure to check "main window position" when you save the screen set!

That's what I recommended in point (3) in this thread: http://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=75888
There should be 'obey pooled option' and 'disobey/reverse pooled option' in the mouse modifier list.
I would also want a single option to work on all cases.

It should be a bug. Otherwise it doesn't make sense to make it a menu item (and an action). I find it quite useful to be able to change this behavior without going to preferences.

Say... I don't know if it's me or this latest build but when I go to adjust the sustain (64 Hold Pedal on) and I click on 1 of the CC like to move it or something, ALL of them light up in light green and ALL of them move! I can't just edit one of them. This has only acted this way since this last build.
Any tips? Anyone else have this issue?
Thanks!

In the midi editor the action " Edit: Select all CC events in time selection" doesn't work. It only selects events in the last touched CC lane.

I don't have any problems selecting CC64 one at a time so not sure about that one. However, " Edit: Select all CC events in time selection" still doesn't work in R4.0, I just checked.

That is by design, to avoid selecting CC events in lanes that are hidden. But we can make the action name clearer, and add a separate action to select all CC events in the time selection, even in hidden lanes.

Or also add an action to select all CCs in all visible lanes, in time selection. That would be even more useful.

Yes schwa, usually there's not enough room to diplay all the CC lanes and still show the notes. When I want to copy a section, 9 times out of 10 I want all the CC data copied with it includeing whats between the notes.
I even have one instrument I use a lot that has 25 controllers so you can see how important it can be.
Thankyou thankyou...
PS> Is it also possible to make the front of the time selection the start of the selection? Right now it uses the front of the first note.

Hey Schwa! Tell me... HOW do I select like 1 CC like when I release my sustain pedal and the CC is a short one WITHOUT selecting ALL the CCs?
Thanks!
