Default Screen layout question

I'm using Reaper 5.40 with Sierra (10.12.4) on a MacBook Pro with an external monitor and I've been having an odd problem with my screen layout on loading.

I've set up a layout for both screens with a variety of features open and laid out the way I like to work with them. I've also created a shortcut for this layout in the Screen Layout window. Further, I've saved my New Project with this dual monitory layout.

When I open Reaper with the external monitor attached the layout that opens is incorrect. Various windows (Marker List, Notes, Track List) open on the external monitor but others which should be on this monitor open on the MacBook's display.

This problem is easily remedied by pressing the shortcut key for the desired layout. I recall that before upgrading to Sierra and El Cap before it this problem didn't occur. This problem has occurred over the past several versions of Reaper.

The problem isn't critical but I wouldn't mind getting things to load correctly if possible.

If you have SWS installed (and you should) then use the "SWS/S&M: Set global startup action" or "SWS/S&M: Set project startup action" commands.

Set them to something like: "Screenset: Load window set #01"

Now your screenset will automatically be loaded on start.

It would be nice if this wasn't necessary, but it doesn't seem like there's any desire to fix the behaviour otherwise.
