Default Conflict with EastWest Symphonic Choir VST

I have Reaper latest version 5.4 and EastWest Symphonic Choir VST 5.0.2. The combination used to work some time ago; however, lately the following problem occurred:
- Using the basic Choir features is OK, though pitch is shifted!!!
- Using "Word Builder" brings on the conflict: when attempting to enter text namely a "space" using the space bar instead of the "space" being entered Reaper starts playback! This was not the case in the past and now this conflict hinders using Symphonic Choir "Word Builder", which is an essential feature!
I have communicated the conflict with EastWest. I have tried using different versions on both sides (Reaper 5.2 & 5.3) and (EasWest 4.3.5 & 5.0 & 5.0.1) without success.
EastWest claims the problem is with Reaper and has designated Reaper as incompatible (does not support Word Builder).

I appreciate your kind support.

Hello knightingale and welcome to these forums. You'll find many helpful people here and a lot of useful information. Make sure that you:
-------------------
1 Different software and hardware products uses different name ranges for MIDI notes (reasons lost in the midst of time; marketing?). If you are out by an octave or two, then set the "MIDI octave name display offset" in the Preferences, probably to -1.

2 Right-click the Word Builder title bar and enable this option:

3 Let EW know that that are wrong.

Default Thank you!

Thanks very much DarkStar. Your instructions solved the issue. I'll get back to EastWest and inform them.
