Default Folders in Media Browser

Hi,

As you can see from the attached screenshots, it is not possible to remove one of the folders left in the media browser. Why? I don't get the logic behind that folders. Can someone explain it to me?

thanks!

Have you already tried if renaming the shortcut first makes any difference?

Otherwise try this:

1) Options -> Show REAPER resource path ...
2) Make a backup of the reaper.ini to a different folder, just in case (so you can copy it back if necessary)

3) Open the reaper.ini in the resource path with a text editor
4) Search for the entries starting with Shortcut in the [reaper_explorer] section and delete the line with the shortcut name you want to remove
5) Since you removed one Shortcut, also lower the total Shortcut number (NbShortcuts=) by 1
6) Restart Reaper.
