Thank you.

Still don't get a logic of the current behavior though. What if I hate moving edit cursor? Can't switch it off :/

Thank you very much for ruler improvements.

Like others mentioned, something got broken in this cycle regarding plugin chain window: more often than not, the fx chain window opens with scrollbars in the plugin GUI section. Wasn't definitely so in 4.61.

Can't confirm. Start clean (no customized ini-s) then test ("Best practice" actually).

Yes, same here. Win7 32bit.

edit: Doesn't happen second time though...

Doesn't happen with a clean portable install though.

RE plugin window scrollbars - It just happened wth Wave Arts Trackplug this morning, also in past recent sessions with other plugins.

REAPER 4.62rc2 x86 on Win7x64 (updated portable install).

Using a custom mod of unempty minima 73 theme.

The context you show in the pic is for the Ruler marker/region lanes, left drag. But you seem to be doing left clicks across the ruler? That would be under Ruler, left click context.

Happens here with some FX (eg ReaComp) and only the first time the said FX is opened in any new track. Second time on the same track, or adding new instances to the same track, it doesn't happen. However, if I have the FX chain window open and the given FX added into the track the first time (scrollbars), and then drag copy this FX to another new track, it will open there without the scrollbars.

Started to happen from v4.62pre2, pre1 doesn't have this behavior.
+ FX: optional auto-positioning of FX chains and floating FX windows, improved default positioning ??

Indeed, that's the problem for me: I want to click-move an edit cursor just over bottom part of the ruler, not in the upper part where I'd like to drag-zoom-scroll only. It's a mess I think.

Working here, but only if Automatically resize FX windows "up" is selected from Preferences -> Plug-ins.

EDIT: works also when both (up/down) are ticked. (Win XP32)

I have always the Automatically resize FX windows "up" selected. If I unselect it, the scrollbars will be there all the time until I manually resize the window so that they will disappear. After that they will not appear for that track anymore.
Win8.1 64-bit.

edit: Both up and down selected behaves here like only up selected; the first time the FX is opened, there will be scroll bars, after that not. If only down is selected, it behaves like without either; scrollbars will be the as long as window is not manually resized.

Scrollbars on plug-in windows have been broken since forever here (OS X). Old pics:

I can confirm this on Win7 x64.

This doesn´t seem to make any difference on my machine, though...

To help some of the ruler stuff, could you guys consider adding left click and double click to the ruler/marker region in the mouse modifiers, then actions? (like the modifiers are for the top half of the ruler).
Thanks
